Created in 2018, The Ward Foundation is inspired and supported by Jim Ward, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. Over his lifetime Jim launched several successful businesses in the New Orleans area. As a very humble man, Jim often downplays his own talents and instead highlights that his success was possible because of the fortuitous timing of opportunity and people’s belief in him.

 

The Ward Foundation aims to mirror Jim’s ethos by supporting innovative organizations that create opportunities for others. The foundation does this in his hometown of New Orleans as well as in Guatemala, a country Jim first visited in 1976.

 

The Foundation currently supports approximately 20-25 social impact organizations in Guatemala and New Orleans.
